Bobby Derie is a self-described “independent scholar, weirdfinder, reader of dead men’s letters, focusing especially on pulp fiction and authors, particularly H. P. Lovecraft and Robert E. Howard.” He is the author of "Sex and the Cthulhu Mythos" (2014) and "Weird Talers: Essays on Robert E. Howard & Others" (2019), as well as the owner of the blog Deep Cuts in a Lovecraftian Vein.
